Meeting abstracts

Sydney - Thursday 5 Nov 2009
Abstracts are invited for oral presentations at the 3rd ANZSUG meeting on Thursday 5 Nov 2009. The available slots for presentations will be 10 or 20 minutes followed by discussion (total presentation lengths of 15 and 30 minutes). We are open to offers (with rationale) of shorter or longer talks or indeed of different presentation formats. Due to time constraints we don't anticipate that all abstracts will be able to be accepted.

Presentations may be on any topic related to using Stata in research or teaching in any field. Examples include the following:
  • Using Stata for statistical analysis
  • User-written Stata programs
  • Importing and managing data in Stata
  • Using Stata for graphics
  • Teaching Stata
  • Teaching statistics with Stata
  • Use of Stata in specific fields
Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words with a maximum of 1 reference. Use ASCII text only. Indicate your preferred presentation style (oral or your own proposal) and length (10 or 20 minutes).

Please email your abstract to keesman@tpg.com.au before 25 September 2009. The program committee will notify authors early October 2009 whether they will be required to present at the meeting

Those required to present will need to email their presentation (slides) to keesman@tpg.com.au the week before the meeting by Thursday 30 October 2009.
